Basera Resort Agamlok
The small Sherpa village in East Sikkim is named "Agamlok".The Bassera Resort, located in Agamlok, a little sherpa hamlet in eastern Sikkim at the beginning of the Old Silk Route, is a relatively modern addition to the traditional Sikkimese hamlet. Beautiful views of the Singalila range, as well as the mountains of Buthan and Tibet, make this location a true treasure for travellers. From The Bassera Resort's balcony, you can see the Zig-Zag route and Lungthu. In the evening, walk/hike towards the sunset point. At Agamlok, you can enjoy a local organic Bamboo drink, a campfire, and barbeque. On prior request, we can also organise a local dancing programme. Enjoy an early morning stroll to Agamlok monastery. From the grounds of Agamlok monastery, you can see Kanchenjunga, Tsomgo, and Lungthu.
