2 Nights 3 Days - Mukutmanipur (Temple Town)
Mukutmanipur is a village in Bankura district at the confluence of the Kangsabati and Kumari rivers . It is is famous for the Mukutmanipur Dam which is the largest earth water reservoir in India.
Day 1 Arrival & transfer to Mukutmanipur
On arrival at Bankura Station (BQA) ( 55 km , 1 ½ hrs. drive approx.) or Bankura Bus Stand. Meet & greet session then transfer to Mukutmanipur. After reaching the Check -in at hotel at Mukutmanipur, refresh yourself followed by Lunch. After lunch visit Kangsabati dam by battery operated eco-friendly vehicles. A boat ride at the time of sunset will give you a mesmerizing view with some beautiful clicks on your smartphone. Besides you can explore Pareshnath Shiv-Mandir, Musafirana View point and Deer Park. Evening snacks and Dinner will be served at the Hotel.Over Night stay at Mukutmanipur.
Day 2 Full Day Sightseeing of Jhilimili, Sutan Forest, Talberia Lake, Beauty of forest
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Ambikanagar, Jhilimili, Sutan Forest, Talberia Lake. Return to the home stay and take Lunch. After Lunch, take rest. Bonfire with Roasted chicken and evening snacks will be served in the evening followed by Dinner at night.Overnight stay at Mukumanipur.
Day 3 Transfer to Bishnupur (Temple Town) Railway station
Post breakfast check out & proceed for Bishnupur ( 85 km, drive approx.) the temple town in the Bankura district of West Bengal is welcoming you with its lavish heritage, proud culture, brilliant architecture, and tales of terracotta. Adi Malla established the Malla dynasty. Jagat Malla, the 10th Malla king shifted his kingdom to Bishnupur. Due to the short supply of stone in Bengal, burnt clay bricks came as a substitute, and architects of Bengal found the new way of a beautiful craft known as ‘Terracotta’. During the seventeenth century, the art of terracotta reached its highest peak. Raja Jagat Malla and his descendants built numerous temples made of terracotta and stone art. Lunch will be at Bishnupur. Then our car will drop you at Bishnupur Station to catch the Aranyak Express (3:30 PM). Evening snacks will be served at Bishnupur Rail station and time to say Goodbye.Tour ends.
