4 Nights 5 Days - Darjeeling, Lamahatta, Tinchuley
Situated at an altitude of 6,710 feet, Darjeeling has a temperate climate. The average Darjeeling temperature swings between 9°C in winters to 20°C in summers. During spring and autumn, Darjeeling weather is cool, while summer is pleasant with a few spells of showers towards the end of June. If you plan your Darjeeling tour in the months of July and August, you may enjoy the monsoon rains in this hill station.
Day 1 Arrival & transfer to Darjeeling
Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP/IXB for your Darjeeling Package Tour and transfer to Darjeeling (via Hill Cart Road), one of the most magnificent Little Singhamari/Bethlehem Homestay in the world. Evening free to explore this hill queen. Visit Darjeeling Mall, have some hot coffee and enjoy the chill weather. Overnight stay at in Darjeeling.
Day 2 Darjeeling Sightseeing Tour
Early Morning at 4 AM visit Tiger Hill, famous for sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjonga, on way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop and back to hotel. After breakfast proceed for visit 7 points, covering The Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and PNZ Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refuge Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and Ropeway (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid by guest directly). Overnight stay at in Darjeeling.
Day 3 Transfer to Tinchuley via Lamahatta,Takdah
One of the most favourite sightseeing spot with Lamahatta Tinchuley Takdah Tour which lets you view the amazing valleys, tea gardens, hills, streams, flora & fauna of the Queen of Hills. After morning breakfast (you can pack it also) start for Takdah, a beautiful place known for Himalayan orchids. From there proceed for Tinchuley Tour - a small hillside village. On the way behold magnificent valley in mountain slopes and Peshoke Tea Gardens. Have some photo shoot and selfie. From there proceed for Lamahatta a perfect place to view the splendid Kanchenjunga on a sunny day. Have a stroll in the pine forest standing high in the sky. Trek top to the sacred Pokhri and have blesssnings. Taste authentic Momo, Thukpa or noodles. Spend a quality time there and stay in Rai Resort Tinchulay. It's an amazing experience.
Day 4 Transfer to Mirik Soureni
Today after breakfast we take you to Mirik, a small picturesque hill station at 5100 ft (1761m) with a beautiful lake surrounded by forested hills on all sides with the back drop of Mt Kanchenjunga. The drive to Mirik runs through some fascinating tea gardens (Sourenee Rea Estate) and pine forests. Enjoy horse ride and boating at the lake, (boating payment direct). Overnight stay at in Rajeshswari Homestay Soureni.
Day 5 : Mirik to Jalpaiguri Rail Station / Bagdogra Airport
Morning free for packing and personal activities. After breakfast transfer to NJP Stn or IXB Airport for return Journey to onward destination. Tour end with sweet memories.
