Chasar Basa

About Chasar Basa Gaonta khamar Organics Farms Houses: On the banks of Dwarkeshwar River, where Bankura of Lalmati and Purulia of Chhota Nagpur Plateau meet, there is Dhamsa Madal Palash Mahua and Santal village full of brotherly motherly love like a small picture of simple people. Our address is Gaonta Farm, right next to these two villages Ushardihi and Parashibana. For the past few years, we have been living our dreams here. Our original paddy Dadkhani, Raghusal, or Randhuni Pagal Kalamkathi, which is now almost extinct due to the Green Revolution, is also here. Here, moonlight blends with the mind-blowing scent of Mahua, the murky colors of Palash, the smoky sand of the mountain river and the bowl of Dhamsa Madal. Migratory birds come down to drink Jyotsna here at Padma Dighi or Indrabil Dam. In the misty winter nights, one can hear the sound of horse hooves of Bargis coming to loot the Kashipur kingdom from the pages of history. Kashipur Rajbari is not far from here. Closer is Aara, a village of Bargi descendants who have been absorbed into Bengali society. To share such an environment with five other people, a guesthouse has been built within the farm. History, natural beauty and ancestral agricultural culture go hand in hand. If you want to go by bus, you have to get off at Kharbona stop, like the buses that go to Purulia from Dharmatala or Durgapur. Toto from there. Besides, after reaching Bankura by any means, from there, take the Kashipur bound bus and get off at Sidhu Kanu Mor stop. Rental cars are also available. Distance from Bankura is 30 km.
