Tathagata Farm and Community Homestays were developed as a way to better the socio-economic condition of the Mineral Spring village where the people mainly supported themselves with agriculture.

🌿 Day Hike – Majitar Trek:
Majitar is a small border village of Sikkim and offers a perfect day hiking experience from Tathagata Farm. The trek takes around 5 hours and follows a gradual downhill trail through beautiful valleys of 🌱 Tukdah Tea Estate, forest villages, 🌊 Rungdung River, Glenburn Tea Estate, and reserve teak forest plantations.
🍛 Upon reaching Majitar Village, lunch is served at a small local restaurant. Guests are then brought back to the farm by 🚖 taxi through another scenic valley route, which takes approximately 2 hours.
🚶♂️ Guided Village Walk:
Tathagata Farm is a part of the certified community of Organic Small Tea Growers and offers a guided village walk of around 4 hours through organic farming communities.
🌾 The walk includes interaction with local farmers and villagers, a visit to a 🏫 kindergarten school, and an opportunity to experience the authentic rural lifestyle of the Himalayan foothills.
🍲 Traditional lunch is served at one of the farmer’s homes, making the experience warm, cultural, and memorable.
